Iowa State reeled in its third recruit in the 2018 class with the commitment of 6-foot-10 big man George Conditt. Conditt joins power forward Zion Griffin and guard Tyrese Haliburton in the class.
The Chicago native was down to Iowa State, Illinois and New Mexico before he committed to Steve Prohm and they Cyclones on Monday.
Conditt is Iowa State's first scholarship player that is 6-10 or over since the sparingly used Georgios Tsalmpouris (2014-15).
Conditt is a legacy athlete for the Cyclones as his father, George Conditt Sr., played football for Iowa State in the early 1990s.
