Tickets going fast for NASCAR Nationwide race at Iowa Speedway

NEWTON - According to Iowa Speedway Vice President of Promotions and Communications Craig Armstrong less than 1,000 tickets remain for the NASCAR Nationwide Series U.S. Cellular 250 scheduled for Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

The race will include five double-duty drivers (racers competing on both Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series) and the stars of the Nationwide Series. They are Paul Menard, Carl Edwards, Brad Keselowski, Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch.

Armstrong said there will be standing room only tickets available on race day, but he encourages fans to call Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or order online to secure their tickets. he expects more than 55,000 to attend, calling it the highest attended pro event in Iowa this year.

"We fully anticipate they will be gone by race day," Armstrong said.
