Trevor Bayne commits to Nationwide race in Iowa
NEWTON - Iowa Speedway officials say Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne will run in next week's NASCAR Nationwide race.
Bayne missed the first of two Nationwide events in Iowa in May because of illness.
Bayne won the pole for the lone Nationwide race at Iowa Speedway in 2010.
Speedway officials also say Sprint Cup drivers Carl Edwards and Brad Keselowski, who won at Iowa in 2009, will also enter the Aug. 6 race.
