Iowa high school boys' basketball teams began punching their tickets to the state tournament Saturday as substate finals were scheduled for around the state.
All eight substate finals in Class 1A and Class 2A were set for Saturday, but weather once again had an impact with a few games being pushed to next week.
Here are Saturday's scores, highlights postponements and links to area coverage.

The Irish (20-3) outscored the Raiders 20-8 in the second quarter for a 38-26 halftime advantage and held off a late charge from Dunkerton (20-5).
Substate 4
FINAL (OT): Alburnett 60, WACO 54
The Pirates stormed to a 17-point lead early in the third quarter, only to see the Warriors storm back and take a brief lead. Alburnett survived a final WACO shot that would have won the game in regulation, then took control in overtime to post a 60-54 win in an entertaining game at Iowa City Liberty High School.
Now 18-5, the Pirates will head to state for the first time ever.
WACO closes its season at 17-5.
Substate 5
FINAL: No. 5 Montezuma 64, Grundy Center 55
The Braves (21-1) trailed 38-24 at halftime but outscored the Spartans (12-11) 17-5 in the third quarter and took the lead early in the fourth.
Montezuma's Trey Shearer scored a game-high 25 points. Joe Johnson led Grundy Center with 22.

Substate 3
FINAL: No. 1 North Linn 59, Cascade 47
North Linn likely is the odds-on favorite once everyone convenes in Des Moines in a little over a week. Last year's 1A runners-up to Grand View Christian, the Lynx (23-0) moved up a class this season but haven't skipped a beat, eliminating defending 2A champion Cascade (15-7).
North Linn averages over 90 points per game but was able to win a second straight game that was more of the half-court variety. The Lynx committed just two turnovers, an insanely low number for a team that plays at a frenetic pace
Substate 4
MUSCATINE — Masen Miller had not exactly been scorching the nets the past four games. The Regina junior guard was shooting 27 percent from the 3-point line in the last three weeks.
Miller picked an opportune time to bust out of a shooting slump Saturday night.
Miller buried seven 3-pointers, six in the first half, en route to a game-high 29 points.
'Tonight just felt really good,' Miller said. 'When you get a few to go, you start to build up the confidence.'
The Regals (20-2) were 12 of 23 from beyond the arc. Conversely, the Indians (20-4) were 4 of 22.

Substate 5
FINAL: No. 10 Van Meter 48, No. 9 Pella Christian 46
The Bulldogs avenged a 53-38 regular-season loss to the Eagles (14-9) to qualify for state.
Van Meter (21-2) led 25-18 at halftime and held on.
Substate 6
FINAL: No. 4 Dike-New Hartford 81, Madrid 53
The Wolverines (21-1) led 46-24 at halftime and cruised from there. Cade Fuller and Dane Fuller each scored 17 points and Colton Harberts chipped in 16.
The Tigers' season ends with a 16-6 record.
