West Delaware places seven

DES MOINES -- The West Delaware Hawks contended for a state team title powered by seven medalists at the Iowa High School Athletic Association Class 2A State wrestling tournament at Wells Fargo Arena.
Top-ranked 195-pounder Adam Reth reached the finals to lead the Hawks. Pat Woods (106) and heavyweight Dean Broghammer posted third-place finishes and Zach Mueller (132) and 182-pounder Jacyn Goebel were fourth. Zach Less (113), a finalist last year, and Jake Voss (152) were fifth for West Delaware.
Union Community had four earn top-six finishes, including brothers Max and Logan Thomsen, who reached the finals at 113 and 138, respectively. Heavyweight Josh Clark was fourth and Dylan McLaughlin was sixth for the Knights.
