Iowa Valley captures SICL crown

Iowa Valley captured the team title at the South Iowa Cedar League tournament Saturday in North English. The Tigers advanced nine to the finals, tallying 238 1/2 and winning by more than 90 points.

Zach Russell (120), Logan Loftus (138), Josh Kriegel (182) and heavyweight Cody VanDee won titles for the Tigers. Iowa Valley head coach Joe Loftus was also named District Coach of the Year for the second straight year.
