Three Mississippi Valley Conference teams comprise the top six seeds at the Iowa High School Athletic Association Class 3A State Duals set for Wednesday. Feb. 15, 2012 at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
In the quarterfinal round, No. 3 Iowa City West (33-3) will have a rematch with No. 6 Cedar Rapids Prairie (27-6). The two teams were tied with two matches remaining before the Trojans won by 12 in the earlier meeting at the end of January.
Linn-Mar is making its second straight appearance and third in school history, The fifth-seeded Lions (29-5) face No. 4 West Des Moines Valley (24-1).
