Iowa City West’s Regan Steigleder named All-American

Iowa City West midfielder Regan Steigleder received national recognition for a standout senior season.
Steigleder was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America girls winter-spring All-America team after scoring 37 goals and 11 assists for the Women of Troy.
Iowa's Gatorade Player of the Year, Steigleder helped West go 19-2 and reach the Class 3A semifinals. She totaled 93 goals and 28 assists in her high school career and signed to play Division I soccer at Northwestern.
Norwalk senior midfielder Kason Crall earned All-American honors on the boys' side.
Iowa is one of 20 states that plays girls' soccer in the spring. Seven states play in the winter.
