TWISTERS GYMNASTS WIN HOEDOWN TITLES

Hallie Ruby, Lacey Neighbor and Reese Miller from Twisters Gymnastics in Hiawatha won titles last weekend at the Harvest Howdown.

Ruby won the bars in Level 3, Neighbor captured the vault in Level 4 and Miller won the floor exercise in Level 4.

Other Twisters placewinners were Alyssa Niemeier and Loren Hungate in Level 3, and Aubrey Gilliland, Victoria Barbieri, Reese Wilson, Elizabeth Tanner, Sophia Barbieri and Elyssa MacCormick in Level 4.

At the Ruby Spooktakular meet last month, Anna VanBerkum (floor), Niemeier (bars) and Peyton Krotz (floor) won Level 3 titles while Aubrey Gilliland (beam), Victoria Barbieri (beam), Neighbor (beam), Tanner (beam), Miller (floor and all-around) and Amera Nakuritimana (beam) in Level 4.

Other placewinners were Ruby, Sydney Cira-Debban, Kylie Link, Molly Icenbice and Hungate in Level 3, and Wilson, Sophia Barbieri, Corrin Williams and MacCormick in Level 4.

JACKSON, SLINGS AMONG WINNERS

Senquez Jackson won the eighth-grade title and fourth-grader Emma Slings was the top female at the Cedar Rapids Jaycees Run Punt Pass competition last month.

Other winners were Andrew Johnson (third grade), Michael Blank (fourth), Carter West (fifth), Garrett Wagner (sixth) and Carter Bell (seventh).

12 MOSER GYMNASTS WIN WOODHULL TITLES

WOODHULL, Ill. - Twelve members of the Moser School of Dance and Gymnastic won titles at the USTA Power Tumbling meet here last month.

Jacob Gasper, Katelyn Mangold, Noa Marting, Ella Marting, Hanna Marting, Paige Kremer, Chloe Bennett, Melanie Lutgen, Isabel Lutgen, Grace Funke, Megan Pierschbacher and Kennedi Bevans were winners.

Emma Marting, Taylor Guthrie and Alexandra McElmeel finished second, and Claire Jaeger and Alexa Ries were third.

DAVIDSON SHINES AT SPOOKTAKULAR

Sidney Davidson of the Cedar Rapids Association of Gymnastics won the Level 4 vault, beam, floor exercise and all-around at the Ruby Spooktakular last month.

Lilly Schares won the vault and bars in Level 3, and, in Level 4, Hailey Hakes captured the vault and all-around and Lexie Goldsmith the beam and floor.

Natalie Freeman (vault) also won in Level 4.

Other Level 3 placewinenrs were Addison Appelhans and Kylie Henry. Maanasa Chinnakonda, Shea Johnson, Ava Andrews, Autumn Poston, Emma Kelsey, Grace Walker and Riley Smith placed in Level 4.
