Prairiewoods to host alternative energy investing seminar
A seminar May 3 in Hiawatha will provide an overview of investment opportunities in the emerging field of green energy.
"Green: Opportunities in Alternative Energy" will be presented from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, at the Prairiewood Franciscan Spirituality Center. It is free and open to the public.
Suresh Basnet, a financial advisor with ING Financial Partners in Cedar Rapids, will present the seminar. He will focus primarily on investing in wind and solar energy through exchange traded funds, stocks and mutual funds.
