Phoebe D'Ysquith (Erin Lauer, right) sings to the man she hopes marry, Montague 'Monty' Navarro (Mic Evans) in 'A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder.' The Tony-winning musical comedy is onstage at Theatre Cedar Rapids through Feb. 23.
Amy Friedl Stoner is bringing her 'Dreamchaser' cabaret concert from New York and St. Louis to the intimate Opus Concert Cafe in downtown Cedar Rapids on Friday (2/14) and Saturday (2/15) nights. Joining her is award-winning music director Rick Jensen. The show is a look at life — with the love of music leading the way — through the songs of Billy Joel, Cole Porter, Jason Robert Brown and more. Interwoven through the music are stories of her experiences in New York, both onstage and off. (Amy Friedl Stoner)
