CEDAR RAPIDS – The holidays can be a difficult time for those who have lost loved ones. In an expression of honor, remembrance and celebration of loved ones, Hospice of Mercy will be lighting its Love Lights tree on Thurs., Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. The lighting of the Hospice of Mercy Love Lights tree is an annual tradition at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, 315 18

Ave., Hiawatha.
Each light signifies a gracious gift of support in honor of a loved one, helping Hospice of Mercy to serve patients on their final journeys, and their family members. The celebration will include the Love Lights tree lighting ceremony, carols, cocoa and cookies, and will honor Hospice of Mercy patients, families, staff, volunteers and the community.
