CEDAR RAPIDS -- The University of Iowa Community Credit Union will open its newest office on Monday in southwest Cedar Rapids.
The 8,200-square-foot building at 2340 Edgewood Rd. SW is located in Edgewood Station, a new retail development on the perimeter of Westdale Mall. The full service branch, the 11th for UICCU, is equipped with three drive-up lanes and an ATM.
UICCU, with about 10,000 members in Linn County to go with 42,537 in Johnson County, merged with Best of Iowa Community Credit Union in Hiawatha in August, adding about $50 million in assets, 4,300 members and offices in Hiawatha and Vinton. It also is considering a future branch at Highway 100 and East Post Road to serve members in northeast Cedar Rapids and Marion.
The state's second-largest credit union is planning a $25 million support center in North Liberty that will centralize its administrative functions.
