Body found inside Hiawatha mobile home
HIAWATHA — Police are investigating the discovery of a body Friday inside a mobile home in Hiawatha.
Police chief Dennis Marks said police were conducting a welfare check at a home in the Sunset Village Mobile Home Park, 530 Robins Rd., just before noon Friday when the body was discovered.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation has been called in to assist with the investigation.
Marks termed the case an ongoing death investigation. He said officials may be able to release more information Monday.
