Dubuque - An Eastern Iowa park has a new addition to its historical tours. This summer Dubuque Union Park will offer zip lining.
Visitors will hike and zip line while learning about the parks history. The park has seven ziplines. The highest is 45 feet off the ground.
The Dubuque Y's Executive Director, Toby Wisecup, says all profits will go to the Y for facility upgrades. Wisecup also hopes this specific attraction will help bring people to the park, as well as Dubuque.
"We beleive it's a nice opportunity for people to come out here with an additional attraction," Wisecup said.
Pre-registration is required to zip line. Those interested can register at the Dubuque Community Y. The cost is 75 dollars per person, but the Y is offering discounts to members and people in the community.
