CEDAR RAPIDS - A few weeks ago students at Wilson School noticed a owl outside the school that looked a little sick. The MacBride Raptor Center took the bird that would of died without care and nursed it back to health. On Tuesday November 9, 2010 Jerry Davenport a volunteer at Wilson School and who had captured the owl released "Wilson", a Barred Owl, back into the wild. The owl had a disease that basically didnt allow the him to eat.
