Hickory Hill Park Warbler Walk May 4th

The following warblers were seen this morning during the Iowa City bird Club's Warbler Walk in Hickory Hill Park: Tennessee Warbler, Nashville Warbler, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Blackburnian Warbler, Black-and-white Warbler, Ovenbird, and Common Yellowthroat. Numerous non-warblers were also seen. An afternoon observer additionally saw Black-throated Green Warbler and Northern Waterthrush.
Warbler migration is truly one of nature's greatest shows.
