Takes wins CR Bassmasters tourney

Thad Takes caught bass weighing 25.1 pounds to win the Cedar Rapids Bassmasters tournament last weekend on the Mississippi River at Prairie du Chien, Wis.
Other top finishers were Brad Teel, 24.5 pounds; Dean Miller, 23.1 pounds; Justin Lubbock, 19.1 pounds; and Darren Corley, 17.8 pounds.
Miller took big fish honors on the first day with a 2.15 pounder. Dennis Olson's 3.4 pounder topped the field on the second day.
