Andrew "Andy" Johnson and Emily Hicks were married on May 23, 2015, at 2 p.m. by Scott Shannahan. The ceremony was lakeside at Pleasant Creek in Palo. Andy, of Cedar Rapids, is the son of Tim (Jill) Johnson and Tina (Scott) Neff. He attended Washington High School, and currently works through the IBEW Local 405 as an apprentice with Nelson Electric. Emily, formerly of New London, is the daughter of Kevin Hicks and Heidi (Jerry)

Gallup. She attended New London High School, the University of Iowa, and DMACC. Emily currently works as a Funeral Director Intern at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson honeymooned throughout the Pacific Northwest, traveling to Denver, Portland, and Seattle.
