Bogguss - Millage

CHICAGO, IL - Katy Sue Bogguss and David Howard Millage, both of Chicago, were united in marriage on June 20, 2009. Deacon Stan Strom presided over the 1 p.m. ceremony at Archbishop Quigley Center, St. James Chapel in Chicago.

A rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom's parents was held on June 19, 2009, at Quartino's in Chicago. A reception was held at Fulton's on the River in Chicago.

Katy's Maid of Honor was Lindsay McGrath. Bridesmaids were, Pia Dierking, Annie Karez, Denae Gerik, Lauren Slaughter, Chante' Thurmond, and Lindsey Kepper. Flower girls were, Anteia Haynes, Charlize Haynes, Sydney Gordon, and Shelby Gordon.

David's Best Man was Brian Stein. Groomsmen were, John Dierking, Brad Liber, Zach Gerik, Terry Morris, Jordy Bogguss, and Brian Steketee. Ring Bearer was Brooks Steketee.

Ushers included, Erik McKinney, Clason Stuhlreyer, Jason Horek, and Johnny Vasquez. Ceremony soloist was Rebecca Davis Wendorf, cousin of the bride. Reception vocal performance by Suzy Bogguss, aunt of the bride.

Katy is the daughter of Joann and Scott Bogguss of Marion, IA. Her grandparents are, the late Carl and Velma Gerdes of Jesup, IA, and Barbara and the late Charles Bogguss of Naperville, IL and formerly of Aledo, IL.

David is the son of Darrell and Debbie Millage of Arvada, CO. His grandparents are, Mary June and the late Howard Baum of Wheat Ridge, CO, and Janet Millage of Arvada, CO, and the late Russell Millage of Tampa, FL.

Katy graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.B.A. in Marketing. She is employed as program manager for emerging markets for Performics, Inc.

David graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Marketing. He is executive editor for McGraw Hill Education The couple spent their honeymoon on the Hawaiian Islands.
