married May 31, 2014 by Pastor Kevin Frey at Trinity Lutheran Church in New Hampton, IA. Following the ceremony, a celebration with family and friends was at The Pub at the Pinicon, also in New Hampton. Parents of the couple are Del Johnson of Houston, TX, Chris and Gary Ewald of Evansdale, and Dennis and Pam Bader of Denver. The
couple honeymooned at Secrets Capri in Rivera Maya, Mexico. Briana works at Iowa EyeCare and Matt works at Rockwell Collins.
