VINTON - Emily Marie Parr and Christopher James Mefford, both of Muscatine, were married at the Vinton Presbyterian Church on May 9, 2009 by the Rev. Mike Andrew. The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia.
Emily is the daughter of Ron and Cindy Tippett, and Brian and Jennifer Parr, all of Vinton. Christopher is the son of Jim and Rose Mefford of Cedar, IA.
Emily received a Masters in Social Work from U.N.I and is employed by Mid-Iowa Family Therapy Clinic. Christopher received a B.S. in Industrial Technology and employed as a design engineer for Allsteel.
