Carrie Elizabeth Ehrmann and Brett Matthew Karkosh, both of Cedar Rapids, were united in marriage on July 11, 2009, at the Rettig Gardens in South Amana. A reception was held at the Amana Golf Club.
Carrie is the daughter of Carl and Debbie Ehrmann of Amana. Brett is the son of John and Jody Karkosh of Toledo.
Carrie is a 2007 graduate of Coe College with a B.A. in Sociology and Public Relations. She is employed at Walgreens Pharmacy. Brett is a 2006 graduate of Coe College with a B.A. in Physical Education. He is employed at Tanager Place.
The couple honeymooned in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
