CARMEL, Ind. (AP) - Vijay Singh keeps giving himself chances to end four years without a PGA Tour victory. But the competition isn't getting any easier at the BMW Championship
Singh made four straight birdies in the middle of his round and had to settle for a two-putt birdie from 15 feet on his last hole. It gave him a 6-under 66 and a one-shot lead going into the weekend at Crooked Stick. It's the second time in his last four tournaments Singh has had at least a share of the 36-hole lead.
One shot behind were Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, along with Ryan Moore.
Woods birdied three of his last four holes for a 67, while McIlroy overcame four bogeys for a 68. Both are going for their fourth win this year.
