The first Ed Thomas Family Foundation Celebrity Golf Classic was held Friday at Centennial Oaks Golf Club in Waverly. The invitational tournament featured NFL players, college coaches, sports journalists and professional athletes. The event supports the Ed Thomas Family Foundation, which promotes faith, family and football through scholarships, missions, facilities, coaching and other mediums to build and honor Ed Thomas' legacy.
