For the John Deere Classic, the auction winner will spend the day with Zach Johnson and his TOUR caddie, Damon Green, on the driving range, putting green and golf course, experiencing each shot first-hand and being in the middle of the action of a professional golf event. They will be shoulder to shoulder among the world's best players as they prepare to compete in an official TOUR event.
The auction for Zach Johnson is presently live and will run through Thursday, July 1st, 2010 or until sold, whichever occurs first. Interested participants can buy the auction instantly at the ‘Buy-it-Now' price or make a bid in hopes of winning the opportunity. The winner will caddie during the Wednesday pro am round, July 7th. The auction can be found from the player links on the caddyforacure.com homepage.
"We are so honored to participating again at this terrific event. The tournament is all about raising money for charity while delivering the best in professional golf, so it's a perfect fit with our program,” states Russ Holden, Caddy For A Cure founder and veteran PGA TOUR caddy. “Zach Johnson is an absolutely incredible player, an unbelievably great guy and someone any golf fan would enjoy spending one-on-one time with. The John Deere Classic does an amazing job of giving back to the community and we are proud to be able to contribute to this fine tournament with such an exciting opportunity.”
