NewBoCo seeking teams for second intrapreneur academy
May. 3, 2019 5:51 pm
The New Bohemian Innovation Collaborative is inviting applications for its second year-long intrapreneur academy.
The summer program will start July 19, geared toward intrapreneurs who 'embody an innovative mind-set and entrepreneurial spirit while working inside an established company to drive meaningful change,” according to NewBoCo's website.
The academy consists of four sections, each focused on a different 'innovation competency” - agility, methods, culture and strategy - and featuring events, guest speakers, tours and training.
For this cohort, NewBoCo plans to recruit five to eight teams, which can include for-profit, not-for-profit and governmental groups.
Those interested can apply on NewBoCo's website, at bit.ly/2XYgnzs, or email David Tominsky, its chief relationship officer, at david@newbo.co, to learn more about the intrapreneur academy's preview day on May 28.
NewBoCo's inaugural intrapreneur academy in April 2018 consisted of teams representing the Linn County Auditor's Office, Marion Process Solutions, Rockwell Collins, United Way of East Central Iowa, Van Meter and Woofables.
