Eagles roll over Marshalltown

Kirkwood held Marshalltown to 26.3-percent shooting Saturday and rolled to an ICCAC victory, 80-45, at Johnson Hall in Cedar Rapids.
Fourteen players found the scoring column for the Eagles (8-4), led by Anna Martensen on 4-of-4 shooting from the field and the foul line.
Candy Clark led Kirkwood with eight rebounds, and Tyra Polite had seven assists.
NORTHERN IOWA 62, DARTMOUTH 46
- Junior Amber Sorenson picked up her first career double-double Saturday, finishing with a career-high 20 points and 11 rebounds to pace Northern Iowa at the McLeod Center in Cedar Falls.
UNI (3-6) got 14 points from Madison Weekly and 10 from Brooke Brown.
Northern Iowa had a season-best 10 3-pointers - four from Sorenson - against the Big Green (5-4).
LUTHER 72, NORTHWESTERN 60
- Moran Lonning made 4 of 6 3-point attempts in a 20-point game to pace Luther (7-1) on its home court.
Meagan Koepnick added 17 points for the Norse, who led 37-22 at halftime. Anna Madrigal scored 15 points.
UW-PLATTEVILLE 68, COE 65
- Coe had its last lead at 63-62 on a couple of Aleena Hobbs free throws at Eby Fieldhouse in Cedar Rapids.
That was with 3:15 to play, and the Kohawks (4-4) didn't score again for two minutes.
Logan Lynch scored 20 points and Mickey Hansche 12 for Coe. Alyssa Krajco led UW-Platteville (7-2) with 23.
ASHFORD 63, MOUNT MERCY 52
- Mount Mercy fell behind 31-17 at halftime at Hennessey Recreation Center in Cedar Rapids and couldn't recover.
Abby Herb scored 17 points for the Mustangs (6-7), and Callan Timms added 10.
CONCORDIA 72, UPPER IOWA 65
- The Peacocks (3-6, 1-4) shot just 33.8 percent from the field in a Northern Sun Conference defeat in Fayette.
