CORALVILLE - Rockwell Collins awarded Coralville-based Innovative Software Engineering a three-year contract to provide software engineering services, including implementing a key component of a Link 16 exchange network engineered and supported by Rockwell Collins in Poway, California.
Rockwell's Link 16 system is used by the United States and other NATO nations to support the exchange of command and control information between Link 16-equipped assets. The system includes a track correlation engine, which interfaces with the Link 16 system and performs analysis of local and remote network tracks to determine if they pass correlation thresholds.
ISE will provide software engineering services to update the correlation engine to function properly on a new platform and to ensure integration with other components of the Link 16 system.
ISE is a leading full-service software development and systems integration company providing business strategy, program management, systems engineering, software development and quality assurance services. The company specializes in developing custom telematics solutions, enterprise mobility applications and custom software. Customers come from a wide range of industries including communications, education, telematics, transportation and health care.
