The Kernels now open a three game series vs. the Beloit Snappers, the Midwest League affiliate of the Minnesota Twins.

PROBABLE PITCHERS:
WEDNESDAY at 6:35 p.m. CR: RHP Austin Wood (2-2, 4.03) vs. BEL: RHP Matt Summers (1-2, 6.64)
Wood is considered the 24th best prospect in the Angels organization. He was named the Midwest League pitcher of the week in early April. The native of Florida and USC product took the loss in his last outing on Thursday vs. South Bend. He allowed four runs (three earned) over 3.2 innings. Summers is considered the #21 prospect in the Twins organization. He got the win on Thursday vs. Bowling Green, pitching 5.2 innings and allowing three runs.
THURSDAY at 6:35 p.m. CR: LHP Eswarlin Jimenez (0-2, 4.80) vs. BEL: LHP Matt Tomshaw (1-0, 2.45)
Jimenez, out of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, started last on Friday vs. South Bend. He took the loss, going 4.2 innings and allowing five runs (one earned) on five hits. Tomshaw has made one start this season with seven appearances out of the bullpen. He has not gone more than three innings in any appearance this season. He appeared last out of the bullpen on Monday, going one scoreless inning vs. Dayton.
FRIDAY at 6:35 p.m. CR: RHP Michael Clevinger (0-0, 3.43) vs. BEL: LHP Steven Gruver (1-3, 4.57)
Clevinger is considered the #16 prospect in the Angels organization. He last started on Saturday vs. South Bend. He picked up a no decision in three innings while allowing two runs on two hits. Gruver was roughed up in his last start on Saturday vs. Dayton. He allowed seven runs (three earned) over 1.2 innings in the loss vs. the Dragons.

Miguel Sano: Ranked as the #1 prospect in the Twins organization. He currently has 6 home runs on 21 runs batted in, both in the top two in the Midwest League.
Eddie Rosario: Ranked as the #3 prospect in the Twins organization. He currently sits 9th in the Midwest League with a .326 batting average.
