Sweep for Kohawks
Coe swept past Simpson Wednesday night in an Iowa Conference volleyball match at Eby Fieldhouse in Cedar Rapids, 26-24, 25-20, 25-17.
The Kohawks, who improved to 30-3 overall, are ranked 24th in the country in NCAA Division III. Coe and Wartburg are both 6-0 in league play and square off next Wednesday (Oct. 30) in Waverly with a regular-season conference title and top seed in the league tournament on the line. Wartburg is 19-9 overall and unranked, although it is receiving votes in the D-III poll.
