International students to visit Cedar Rapids high schools

Teachers and students in the Japanese language programs at Jefferson, Kennedy and Washington high schools will host exchange students from Japan next week.
“We greatly cherish the relationships we have with these sister schools and this year we are all hosting at the exact same time,” explained Julie Cain, Washington teacher. “To celebrate, we are planning an event where all three groups of exchange students, their hosts, and students in our Japanese programs can all intermingle.”
The group will enjoy a skating trip to the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena on Wednesday, March 14, from 1:30 – 4 p.m.
