Mount Mercy University hired Jack Dahm (photo) as head baseball coach. Dahm was formerly head baseball coach at the University of Iowa.
Liz Efting (see photo), a Realtor previously in commercial real estate in the Cedar Rapids area, was hired by Iowa Realty as manager of the company's Iowa City office.

The Anamosa State Penitentiary has promoted Lorne Cullen (see photo) from correctional officer to investigator II and Kalli Hansen (see photo) from correctional officer to senior correctional officer.
ImOn Communications has promoted Jamie Bradley (see photo) from assistant controller to controller.
TD & T CPAs and Advisors promoted Amanda Lane (see photo) from senior staff accountant to tax manager.
The Linn County Sheriff's Office has promoted Chad Colston (see photo) from detective/sergeant to lieutenant in the criminal division and Heather O'Brien (see photo) from deputy to sergeant and assigned as a supervisor at the Linn County Correctional Center.

Jane Meyer (see photo), senior associate director of athletics at The University of Iowa, was named to the Mount Mercy University Board of Trustees.
The Linn County Farm Bureau elected Jason Russell of Monticello to serve a one-year term as president. Other officers are Matt Price of Coggon, vice president; and Dave Prasil of Lisbon, secretary/treasurer. Board members to serve as directors in townships for two-year terms are: Duane Bolton, Brett Brannaman, Michael Brannaman, Joshua Henik, Norm Hlas, Tim Keegan, George Maxwell, Joel Rochleau and Joe Sperfslage.
