Are you looking for a new feline friend? Well today is your lucky day.
The Cedar Rapids Animal Care and Control center is extending a '2-for-1” adoption special for all kittens under 7 months.
Due to the large number of cats currently available, the usual $100 fee for adoption will be waived for the second cat, the center announced Thursday.
'We have several kittens available right now and many more coming in every day with still more coming back from foster care over the next week or so,” said Diane Webber, the shelter's program manager. 'All of these kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas and microchipped. And they're soft, cuddly, playful, fun to watch and just plain adorable, too.”
The adoption fee for adult cats is $75 through the end of the month, as well.
Cedar Rapids Animal Care and Control Center is located at 900 76th Avenue Drive SW on the Kirkwood Community College campus.
The center is open for adoptions noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
