[Women's Basketball] Mims earns all-America honor

SIOUX CITY, Iowa -- The NAIA announced the 2011 Division II Women's Basketball All-America teams on Wednesday, and Mount Mercy junior guard Micha Mims received honorable mention from the All-America committee.

The junior guard led NAIA Division II in 3-point percentage (46.8%) and ranked third in the Midwest Collegiate Conference in assists (3.57 apg), steals (2.36 spg), and 3-point field goals (66). Mims was eighth in the league in scoring (13.8 ppg) and ended the season in 10th place on Mount Mercy's career list with 105 3-pointers.
