Marie-Lidd named to D3hoops.com Team of the Week

Cornell College sophomore center Camille Marie-Lidd (Marion/Cedar Rapids Washington) has been named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware for Week 11 of the 2010-11 basketball season.

Marie-Lidd shot 16-of-27 (59.3 percent) from the field and 14-of-15 from the foul line while averaging 23.0 points and 9.0 rebounds in two games last week. She posted a 23-point, 12-rebound double-double in a 66-54 loss at Luther Feb. 9. Marie-Lidd then put up 23 points and six rebounds in a 68-64 setback at home Saturday to Central.

Marie-Lidd's efforts moved her into 10th place on Cornell's career scoring list with 763 points. She leads the Iowa Conference in rebounding (8.2 rpg) and ranks second in scoring (15.7 ppg) and third in field goal percentage (48.4).

The Rams (7-14 overall, 2-12 IIAC) play host to Loras at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, and then close the season at Simpson Saturday, Feb. 19.
