[Women's Soccer] V-Hawks trip up Mustangs
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Visiting Viterbo (Wis.) scored three goals in an action-packed first half on Saturday and defeated Mount Mercy, 3-1, in Midwest Collegiate Conference women's soccer at Lower Kingston Field.
The V-Hawks scored a pair of early goals by Lauren Neet and Leah Bicking, then tacked on a third by Hannah Fry in the 39th minute to take a 3-0 lead. Freshman forward Amelia Parris notched an unassisted goal in the 43rd minute for the lone Mustang score.
Mount Mercy hosts a rescheduled match with Clarke on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at Lower Kingston Field, then Grand View comes to town for Senior Day on Saturday at 1:00 p.m
