PEOSTA, Iowa -- Third-seeded Mount Mercy and fourth-seeded Iowa Wesleyan squared off in a classic elimination game on Thursday. In the end, an unearned run by the Tigers in the ninth inning was the difference in a 6-5 victory over the Mustangs in game seven of the Midwest Collegiate Conference Baseball Tournament at A.J. Spiegel Park.
