A Mexican restaurant in northeast Cedar Rapids was damaged in a fire that happened just after midnight Thursday morning, according to a press release from the Cedar Rapids Fire Department.

A Cedar Rapids man was arrested Thursday after police say he started a trash can fire and several smaller fires at Greene Square park while carrying a sword.
