Running-Marquardt to be sworn in Wednesday

Kirsten Running-Marquardt, a Cedar Rapids Democrat, will be sworn in as a member of the Iowa House at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 6 at the Kosek Bandstand in the Czech Village.
Running-Marquardt, who was elected in a special election Nov. 24 to replace Rep. Dick Taylor, D-Cedar Rapids, who resigned, will be sworn in by Sen. Bob Dvorsky, D-Coralville.
