LWV legislative forum series begins planned Jan. 16

The League of Women Voters of Cedar Rapids & Marion annual legislative forums begin Jan. 16 at the Hallagen Education Center at Mercy Medical Center, 701 10th St. SE Cedar Rapids.
The forum with area state lawmakers will be from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m.
Additional forums are planned Saturdays Feb. 20, March 20 and May 1.
The forum is also sponsored by AARP, AAUW, United Way of East Central Iowa, Waypoint and Junior League.
