Iowa Hospice sets volunteer training in Cedar Rapids

Iowa Hospice is looking for caring, supportive, energetic persons to become volunteers.
Volunteers donate their time, effort, and talent to hospice patients and families. There are several ways volunteers make a difference including patient care, bereavement support, and office/staff support. Volunteer activities are flexible and involvement can be altered to fit the volunteer's schedule. Iowa Hospice will be holding a volunteer training April 4
th
from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cedar Rapids Iowa Hospice office located at 800 1st Ave. NE.

Iowa Hospice was founded in 2005 and provides service to 90 counties throughout Iowa. Through the services provided by Iowa Hospice, patients and families receive physical, social, emotional, and spiritual support. Iowa Hospice is available to anyone with any life limiting illness, regardless of their ability to pay. Services out of the Cedar Rapids office reach patients and families in Benton, Iowa and Linn counties.
