Podcast: On The Record talks Standlee Trial with Assistant Linn County Attorney Jordan Schier

Nov. 21, 2016 3:27 pm
This week's On the Record talks about the sentencing of Travis Standlee, convicted last week for his second 50 year prison sentence for strangling to death Sharon Mead, 41, on Sept. 11, 2015.
The guest is Assistant Linn County Attorney Jordan Schier who prosecuted Standlee in the Mead murder and the murder of Raymond Ursino, 55, on Sept. 5, 2015.
Standlee, originally charged with two counts of first-degree murder, was found guilty of second-degree murder in both trials. The judge ran the two sentences consecutively, so Standlee must serve 35 years on each sentence before being eligible for parole.
On the Record is a courts and crime podcast hosted by Trish Mehaffey and produced this week by Max Freund.
