Park Cedar Rapids offering free New Year’s parking
CEDAR RAPIDS - To promote a safe celebration of the new year, Park Cedar Rapids is offering free overnight parking starting at 5 p.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday in the following parking structures:
l GTC Ramp, 201 Fourth Ave. SE
l Fourth Avenue Ramp, 349 Fourth Ave. SE
l Third Avenue Ramp, 333 Third Ave. SE
l Southside Ramp, 600 Second St. SE
Officials ask that vehicle owners ensure that all parked vehicles are locked and secured. Park Cedar Rapids also recommends not leaving valuables or other items in vehicles, or removing items from plain sight.
Security personnel patrol all facilities and are always on call at (319) 423-7060.
