Two Marion women were arrested after a break-in Wednesday night that involved smashing a PlayStation outside a northeast Cedar Rapids home, officials said.
Around 11 p.m., Micah Reed, 24, and Jacey Blackwell, 19, forced the door open of 300 31

Officials said Blackwell began hitting Mehaffy in the head and throwing items at him. Reed then took a PlayStation video game console, ran out into the parking lot and threw it on the ground, breaking it, authorities said.
Blackwell and Reed then got into a vehicle and left. Officers were able to locate Blackwell and Reed inside the vehicle near the 400 block of 33

Officials said the PlayStation is valued around $200.
