Jeremy Henderson Memorial Ride to benefit the MDA

The Muscular Dystrophy Association of Eastern Iowa would like to invite you to be a part of the 5th Annual Jeremy Henderson Memorial Ride. The event will take place on Saturday, July 16, 2011. The ride begins at Jerzees with registration beginning at 8:00 am. The ride ends at 4:00 pm at Wild Hogs in Walford. Last year was another huge success, with 400-plus riders raising over $12,000!

The funds for this year's event have been earmarked for research to help find cures and treatments for CMT (Charcot-Marie-Tooth). MDA's program of services includes funding local groundbreaking research at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics; payment of repairs on wheelchairs, communication devices and leg braces; sending youngsters ages 6-17 to Summer Camp at Camp Courageous in Monticello, Iowa; providing support groups and much more.
