Eichhorn touts ‘massive’ list of endorsements

A week before the June 8 primary election, Republican secretary of state candidate George Eichhorn has announced a “massive” list of endorsements.

Eichhorn, a Stratford attorney and former Iowa House member, said his list is populated by Republican legislative leaders, former Iowa Republican Party chairman and officials, conservative activists and local elected Republicans.

“These leaders know I will bring conservative leadership to the Secretary of State's office to restore taxpayer accountability, eliminate wasteful spending, and reform policies that leave the state open to elections fraud. I will put my strong, proven pro-business, pro-family legislative record to work.” Eichhorn said.

Among the Eastern Iowans who have endorsed Eichhorn are: Reps. Jeff Kaufmann, Wilton; Steve Lukan, New Vienna; Betty De Boef, What Cheer; Dawn Pettengill, Mount Auburn; Lance Horbach, Tama; Sen. Jim Hahn, Muscatine; former Reps. Jeff  Elgin, Cedar Rapids; Dan Boddicker, Tipton Chuck Larson Jr., formerly of Cedar Rapids.
