Caslavka, Laverna
Laverna Caslavka, 87, of Traer, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minn. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 13, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Traer. Burial will be in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Clutier. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Overton Funeral Home in Traer, where a rosary and Scripture service will be held at 5 p.m.
She is survived by her four children, Jennifer (John) Stoltenberg of Wayzata, Minn., Dennis Caslavka of Excelsior, Minn., David Caslavka of Pittsburg, Calif., and Joleen (Jeffrey) Hall of Excelsior, Minn.; five sisters, Elayne Boddicker of Newhall, Doris (Everett) Kintzel of Blairstown, Geraldine (Ronald) Holladay of Cedar Rapids, Jeanette Feddersen of Marion and Patricia (Bob) Gambaiani of Waverly; and five grandchildren, Amy (Tim) Lobner, Erik Stoltenberg, Mark Stoltenberg, Ryan Caslavka and Jeffrey Hall II. Laverna was excited by the news that Amy and Tim were expecting her first great-grandchild (a boy) in June.
