Police investigate suspicious phone call at Marion Party City

MARION - Law enforcement agencies from several departments responded to the Party City on Twixt Town Road Monday.
Newsline 9 callers first reported the incident around 5 p.m. Officers on the scene said they were investigating a suspicious phone call.
Police say all employees were out of the building when officers first arrived. Pictures from the scene showed crime scene tape around the front entrance and no cars in the parking spaces closest to the business. A Gazette photographer observed a K9 unit exiting the store.
Authorities started taking down the crime scene tape and letting people back inside around 5:30 p.m.
