HIAWATHA - A Cedar Rapids man has been charged in connection with a stabbing earlier this month.
Police say 23-year-old Jesse Davis is responsible for a fight that happened in the 4000 block of Hummingbird Lane on April 18 that sent two people to the hospital for treatment of stab wounds.
Officers responded around 4 p.m. for a report of a stabbing and arrived to find three people with stab wounds, according to a release from Hiawatha Police Chief Dennis Marks.
Davis was discharged from the hospital and formally charged with first degree burglary, going armed with intent, willful injury and assault while participating in a felony for his involvement in the incident.
Davis and the two victims, identified as Lucas and Nicholas Madison, knew each other, according to the release.
